The history of Hacienda Buena Vista is linked to the life of the Vives family, their summer residence and what today is the historical site of this natural area. The river and the force of its current are the protagonists of a relationship between nature and agriculture mediated by slavery. Historical buildings and one-of-a-kind machinery remain from this process, along with a sophisticated system of waterworks. Come and join a specialist which will guide you through the rich history of this place. This is our traditional tour, which incorporates a rotating seasonal theme into the interpretation of this natural protected area’s history and nature.
