Due to a technical malfunction, the steam-powered sugar mill (trapiche) at Hacienda La Esperanza, will not be operational during the tour. Although it will not be seen in motion, our interpretive staff will provide a comprehensive explanation of its history, function, and significance within the context of the Hacienda.
