Walk through the northern karst at Hacienda La Esperanza

The mogotes are an essential part of the Puerto Rican landscape. But do you really know what a mogote is or have you entered one? This tour takes us along the strip of the Northern Karst located in the Hacienda La Esperanza in Manati. In the walk we will cross a karst forest, typical formations of the region and we will know its natural history, together with the flora and fauna typical of the area. We will also learn the importance of the karts for the filtration of the underground water that we drink, visiting a water eye that is born at the foot of one of the formations in this natural reserve.
