Los Picachos - From the mountains to the coast
Experience the ecosystem components of El Yunque National Forest on a five-hour walk under the canopy. You will visit the iconic peak of Los Picachos. On clear days, on this tour you could enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the coastal plains of the northeast and southeast of Puerto Rico. All this while learning about the history and ecology of El Yunque; especially about the ecosystem processes that make the mountains of the forest and the coasts are connected.
