Palo Colorado, Río Grande

Mt. Britton – From Ridge to Reef

Experience the ecosystem components of El Yunque National Forest on a four-hour walk under the canopy. You will visit iconic architectural structures such as the Tower, which was built in stone more than 80 years ago. On clear days, on this tour you could enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the coastal plains of the northeast and southeast of Puerto Rico. All this while learning about the history and ecology of El Yunque; especially about the ecosystem processes that make the mountains of the forest and the coasts are connected.
