Antiguo Acueducto del río Piedras, San Juan
The river that gives life to San Juan
For almost a century, the Piedras River quenched the thirst for progress of the residents of San Juan and since its last meander, the San Juan Aqueduct still remains as a living memory of the evolution of the Capital City. This oasis, sheltered in an urban forest, served as the engine that boosted the development and growth of the capital, filtering and distributing millions of gallons of water to all the neighborhoods of the municipality and its island. Join us on this interpretive tour of the Old Aqueduct of the Piedras River!
